News | PS Plus choose greensplash

PS Plus (from “Prison Service Plus”) is a prison and community based project that is currently jointly funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and National Offender Management Service (NOMS).

In its second phase, PS Plus currently works with 44,000 offenders in 39 English prisons and across 3 Probation areas.

In January 2007, the third phase of the PS Plus project will begin. This project involves up to 23 prison establishments working across 16 Probation areas. The community element provides an exciting new dimension to the PS Plus project model.

This new phase, incorporating almost half of all English Probation areas, is a combination of custodial and community interventions aimed at increasing the employability of beneficiaries.

To help support, communicate and market PS Plus in its new transitional phase and beyond, a greater marketing focus and direction is required. This means getting 'back to basics' with the development of a new brand identity that encompasses the core values of the organisation.

greensplash has been appointed as the successful agency to design and develop a new brand identity to help in communicating the ‘new’ PS Plus to identified markets and stakeholders.

Siu Wan, Business Development Manager commented: "We are excited to be involved with PS Plus on such an important project. Moving forward with the development of the brand identity, we feel that the emphasis will be very much on collaboration, working closely in partnership with PS Plus to develop the most effective brand identity that works both now and in the future."
